Torque tester for bottle caps is an easy to operate instrument and is manufactured using the latest cutting edge technology, the instrument has the feature to calculate the opening and closing torque. The torque tester is best suitable for bottles. The value of torque required to open/close the cap of the bottle is displayed on the digital screen instantly after the completion of the test. The units of reading will be lb-inch. The instrument also has an additional feature of saving upto 9 test readings making the procedure simpler and user friendly.
Torque tester is an ideal instrument to test the fastening of lids and caps. Bottles are subjected to load under twisting; this load can be calculated using the torque Tester.
The torque tester is equipped with an ergonomic working module. To perform the test, the operator has to place a closed bottle or container above the rotating base plate and in between the 4-knob clampers. The operator clamps the specimen with the 4 knobs and after a firm grip on the bottle, the operator can simply open the bottle or container closure. The torque or the angular rotating force exerted to open the bottle closure is depicted through the movement of the base plate on the microprocessor-based digital display.
The torque tester is equipped with highly advanced features that make the testing absolutely easy and aids manufacturers from bottle manufacturing, closure manufacturing, beverage, and other related industries to identify the torque required to open bottle closures.
The torque tester is equipped with a 4-knob clamping mechanism for firm gripping of the bottle or container along with a rotating wheel clamper to promote single-handed operations. The instrument also offers a safety latch to hold the base rotating plate when the testing is not underway.
